PATH is a US-based international nonprofit organization with the mission to improve the health of people around the world by advancing technologies, strengthening systems, and encouraging healthy behaviors. The India TB project is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). PATH and its six partners will support the Central TB Division (CTD) of the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP) to implement activities in the areas of laboratory strengthening, infection control, public-private mix, MDR-TB control, advocacy, communication, and social mobilization (ACSM), and other areas as requested over the next five years. We will collaborate ‘with the World Health Organization (WHO), the civil society consortia, and others working in TB control to improve TB control systems and practices in India.
